Welcome to the tape-swap ring of the Technique and Ferret mailing list.
 
The rules are simple. You make up a tape or CD of the music you're grooving to at the moment, and submit your name to the moderator. He'll send you an address to post it off to. A few days later, you'll receive another tape, that someone else has kindly made up. You listen to it, note down what you like, and possibly go out and buy the album with it on. Then you send the tape to the first address you had. Easy eh?
 
The catch is that you only get told the track names - not the artists or any more information. This is to ensure that you give everything a fair hearing. Let's face it - everybody hates the Smiths, so if you got a tape with a Smiths song on it, you'd more than likely wipe your arse with it, rather than put it in your stereo. This way, you'll hear it first, then wipe your arse.
 
The purpose of this web site is for you to be able to look up the details of the tape, after after you've listened to the tape you received.
 
The names of the people involved in the first round are listed to the left, so if you click on the name you need, the details will spring up. Easy or what?!
